Co-op payouts tumble

Payouts to Calgary Co-op members are shrinking.

The local grocery chain is blaming falling profits.

Sales at Calgary Co-op topped $1-billion last year, but the amount going back to members fell to $37.9-million from $52.5-million.

The money is also being shared by more people.
