Calgary Hitmen connect with Distress Centre

Some local hockey heroes are helping launch a new Distress Centre program.

ConnecTeen will offer 24 hour support for Calgary youth, with peer support from trained youth volunteer of a similar age, who can relate to similar issues.

Friday, the Calgary Hitmen will present two cheques to the Distress Centre before taking on the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Saddledome.

A portion of 50/50 proceeds from the game will also go to the centre.
