Calgary Zoo voted top Calgary attraction

The results are in from Calgary’s Child Magazine’s Parents’ Choice Awards.
The votes have been counted and the best in Calgary have been revealed in Calgary’s Child Magazines Annual Parents’ Choice Awards.
According to parents, the Calgary Zoo is the city’s top attraction.
Calaway Park and Heritage Park both got honourable mentions in the top attractiopn category.
Ellen Percival with the magazine says they put out ballots late last year and have finished tallying up the results.
The Calgary Zoo was also tops for having the best Christmas event, with its Zoolights each year.
Also on the list of Calgary’s best, the YMCA’s Camp Chief Hector was voted best children’s residential camp.
Parents voted Southland Leisure Centre as having the best swimming pool.
Percival says of special note was Calgary Parks and Recreation which was chosen in seven different categories for its variety of programs.
