After a critical report last year from an outside consultant, the Calgary Parking Authority says it has made significant improvements.
In August of 2010, they registered 1,200 complaints. In January 2011, just 60 people called in to say they were angry with the CPA.
CPA head Dale Fraser appeared before a city committee on Wednesday and says their officers are also checking to see if there are people in vehicles before Parkplus tickets are issued.
Fraser says they are also installing new UV filters behind Parkplus screens, because many Calgarians say they are nearly impossible to read in direct sunlight.
