Truck slams into N.E. garages

A pickup truck skidded out of control on a northeast street, slamming into two garages early Wednesday morning.
No one was hurt, but there’s extensive damage to one of the garages along Coventry Hills Way.
The fire department’s Heavy Rescue Unit was called in to shore up the unstable structure.
City police are reminding drivers that despite the warm up, streets are icy.
