Moon moving closer to Earth

Saturday night marks the moon’s closest approach to the Earth in 18 years.

It’s being called an extreme super moon because it will be both full and up to 15 per cent larger than normal.

That’s great news for stargazers; but it also brings a warning from some experts.

They say it could result in high tides right through the weekend, meaning possible flooding around the globe.
