Man dead after crash

The area around 52nd Street at 130th Avenue S.E. was closed off after a deadly single vehicle crash Sunday morning.
A 53-year-old man died at about 8:00 am, after a light grey truck, heading westbound on 130th Avenue, hit a light standard near 52nd Street.
The driver was the only person inside the vehicle.
Duty Inspector Jolayne Anderson tells 660News it’s believed there may have been extenuating circumstances which led to the crash.
“The occupant was transported to the Rockyview where he was pronounced deceased. The information that we have at this time is that there may have been a preexisting medical condition,” says Anderson.
