Calgary hotel rates drop

Getting a hotel room in Calgary costs less than it used to.

A new Hotels.com survey finds rates in both Calgary and Edmonton dropped a little last year.

Hotel rates in Cowtown experienced a three per cent drop, while those in the capital went down by two per cent.

The average room rate in Calgary currently sits at about $136 per night.
