Police say CTrain stabbing was a targetted attack

The man was stabbed in one of the cars of a CTrain Tuesday night while traveling in the 400 block of 7th Avenue southwest.

Police say the man was stabbed by his acquaintance after an argument.

The suspect is said to be an aboriginal male, in his 20s, of average height, with a medium to heavy build.

He was with a woman, also said to be aboriginal, of average height and with a heavy build.

The pair were seen with the victim on the Victoria Park Stampede Station platform before the stabbing.

Police are hoping to get more details from the victim, who remains in hospital.
