Earth Hour just around the corner

Calgary is looking for redemption over the weekend.

Earth Hour happens Saturday night, when people around the world are asked to turn the lights off and reduce power consumption between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Last year Calgary had the worst result in the country, with power consumption in the city actually going up by 3.6 per cent during that hour.
