It’s time to nominate your snow angel for recognition.
The City of Calgary is accepting submissions until Thursday, March 31st.
The “Snow Angel” program is designed to assist elderly Calgarians and those with mobility and health concerns by encouraging their neighbours to clean the sidewalks of snow and ice.
Last year, the city received 486 nominations for snow angels and they hope to beat that total this year.
Nominated snow angels are entered into a draw for a number of prizes and Mayor Nenshi will also recognize them for their contributions to the community.
