Wait times for some heart surgeries plunge

There’s been a big drop in wait times for certain heart surgeries in Alberta and BC.

University of Calgary doctors have found that wait times for several procedures have been cut in half compared to where they were 15 years ago.

The biggest amount of progress was made in wait times for angioplasty, followed by coronary bypass surgeries.
