Vimy Ridge Day

The Town of Okotoks held a ceremonial walk Saturday evening to mark Vimy Ridge Day.

The Vimy Ridge battle was April 9th, 1917, as Canadian troops made strong progress in World War I.

Numerous youth, police and military groups took part in the walk from the Elks Hall to the cenotaph.

MLA George Groeneveld and Okotoks Councillor Stephen Clark also attended.
