The Alberta Cancer Foundation is hoping to drum up some attention for an event being held this summer.
Nick Locke with foundation tells 660News there are certain cancers that many people consider too taboo to talk about.
“The most common one for men and women is colorectal cancer. The most common one for men alone is, of course, prostate cancer. But it also includes kidney cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer and in women particularly ovarian which is a very deadly type of cancer and cervical cancer,” says Locke
On Wednesday, Canadians are being encouraged to wear there underwear outside their pants and then on June 4, the Cancer Foundation will host the “Underwear Affair” which is a walk and run fundraiser being held right here in our city.
