Coyotes spotted in Willow Park

Coyotes are on the prowl in a southeast Calgary neighbourhood.

Bylaw officials are keeping an eye on the situation in Willow Park, where one woman tells The Calgary Sun they’ve already lost a family cat to the predators.

Spring is mating season and the coyotes will be coming out of their dens soon looking for food.

Bylaw Boss Bill Bruce says they can be a danger to the public if they become too accustomed to human interaction.
