Green Party leader visits Calgary

Over a hundred Green Party supporters gathered along Stephen Avenue Tuesday morning to welcome Elizabeth May.
Weeks after the election campaign began, it’s the first visit the city has received from any of the major party leaders.
May’s day began in a meeting with Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
After that it was an impromptu game of hockey as she met with supporters.
May told the crowd this campaign for the Greens has been one of possibility and it’s time politicians act in a respectable manner.
She adds this will be the election her party gets a seat in the House of Commons.
