Ignatieff raising eyebrows with latest comments

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff has created quite a stir after laying out a possible scenario for leading a new government.

In a CBC interview, Ignatieff says if Harper wins the most seats, but doesn’t have the confidence of the house, and goes to the Governor General, he and the other parties could be asked to form a government.

However, he says it would not be a coalition and he would even ask the Conservatives if they wanted to help.

The Tories say it’s more proof Ignatieff would try and seize power if Stephen Harper doesn’t get a majority.
