Calgary’s arts and culture community is coming together for one night of politically-themed performances ahead of the May 2nd Federal Election.
Monday night at 8 p.m. at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, the city’s best and brightest musicians and writers will host an evening of short theatrical works aimed at getting people engaged in the key election issues.
The evening includes works by Calgary playwrights Jonathon Chapman, AJ Demers, Eugene Strickland and musician Kris Demeanor.
Wrecking Ball events are being held the same night in other cities across Canada including Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg.
Proceeds from the show go to the Actor’s Fund of Canada.
