Easter donation gives poor over 1,000 shoes

A local church has come to the aid of children and adults who need shoes.
About 150 members of the Bow Valley Christian Church’s congregation left their footwear beside their pews last week.
They did it so people across the planet who can’t afford shoes will get a pair.
The Calgary Herald reports the church managed to gather about 1,500 pairs, which will go to the Soles4Souls charity.
