Volunteers needed on election day

Elections Canada is looking for some last minute help in making sure that voting
goes smoothly on Monday.
Regional Media Advisor Frank Saulnier tells 660News they are looking for 600 deputy returning officers and poll clerks in Calgary alone.
“It’s sometimes a challenge to have the number of people to ensure that we deliver a good product on elections day. In the immediate Calgary area right now there are three returning offices that could use the extra hands,” says Saulnier
Workers are being asked to man the polls for 12 hours starting at 7:30 in the morning.
