Party leaders give Calgary the cold shoulder

With five days left until the federal election, it looks like Calgary will be snubbed.
None of the major party leaders are planning to campaign here.
Conservative leader Stephen Harper will stop in his Calgary Southwest riding to vote on Monday and will then remain in the city for his rally on election night.
But Harper won’t be stumping here and there’s no sign Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff or the NDP’s Jack Layton plan to visit this Tory stronghold.
Many Calgarians 660News spoke with on Wednesday morning say they don’t care much one way or another if the leaders come to the city, adding they understand the leaders assume Calgarians will support the Tories regardless.
Others say it’s apathetic and unjust to think everyone will blindly vote for the Conservatives.
