Calgary police getting sued

The Calgary Police Service is getting slapped with a lawsuit for $225,000.
It’s over claims that officers arrested and roughed up a man before sending him home without charges.
The Calgary Sun reports the man involved was a passenger in a vehicle making its way down 17th Avenue S.E. when the driver pulled up next to an undercover officer and asked for sexual services.
The plaintiff says officers punched, kicked and shoved him during the February 2010 arrest.
He says he was only in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong person.
