Kate’s dress a trendsetter

Now that the Royal Wedding is over and done with, it’s expected to have a big impact on wedding trends.
Janice Hughes with Ethos Bridal in Calgary tells 660News many brides will want a dress like Kate’s.
“It was beautiful. Just a touch of lace with silk and flowing and a stand-up collar which is going to be a big feature next season,” says Hughes.
She says the A-line of the dress is likely a style that’s now going to come back in a big way and we may see longer trains as well to compare with Kate’s.
Hughes also believes long, lacy sleeves will be making a comeback.
