Police find hit and run vehicle

Police have located a BMW they believe was involved in a serious hit and run involving a construction worker in the city’s southeast.

The worker was struck on Blackfoot Trail under the Ogden Road overpass in the early hours of Friday morning.

The construction area was lit and well posted with numerous warning signs.  

The victim was transported to hospital, where he was treated for multiple fractures and is in stable condition.

The traffic unit is continuing their investigation.
