Mothers Day run and walk fast approaching

The Spork Chek Mothers Day Run and Walk is fast approaching here in Calgary and Edmonton.
The 5km and 10km event helps to support the Calgary Health Trust.
Forzani Group Foundation General Manager Todd Birss tells 660News proceeds will go towards equipment for the neo-natal intensive care unit at the Rockeyview, Foothills and Peter Lougheed Hospitals.
Birss says they hope to have 16,000 participants on Sunday.
The race will start and finish at the Chinook Centre Sunday which is along 61st Avenue and Macleod Trail.
