Lance Armstrong to visit Calgary

One of the world’s greatest athletes is lending his help to a local fundraiser.
Lance Armstrong is scheduled to come to Calgary on September 8th to lead LinkPink 2011.
It’s a 60-kilometre ride to help the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation raise money for research.
At a dinner that same day at the Telus Convention Centre, the seven-time Tour de France champion will speak about his own battle with cancer and take questions.
This is Armstrong’s sixth fundraising visit to Calgary since 2003.
