LRT tunnel fire

Two small fires inside the LRT tunnel between the Stampede station and City Hall station caused quite a disruption Friday evening.
Crews were called to the scene just after six on Friday evening where they were met with intense smoke.
They were able to extinguish the fire inside the CPR tunnel where they also found a person who was taken to hospital with moderate to severe burns.
There were no trains inside the tunnel at the time and it has been deemed safe by the fire department.
