Rowdy night in Falconridge

There was an unruly party in the parking lot, Sunday morning, at the Falconridge-Castleridge Community Centre, forcing City Police to send a number of units to the community hall to restore order.
At about 3:30am, police say someone released pepper spray inside the community center and about a hundred people fled the building for the parking lot.
That’s when matters got ugly and police and EMS arrived at the northeast facility.
No one was taken to hospital for treatment, but one man was taken from the scene in handcuffs.
Police say the function was a private, ethnic group gathering.
