Calgary officially bids adieu to flouride

The City of Calgary will finally stop putting fluride into the city’s drinking water supply on Thursday.

The move follows much debate at city council and an eventual vote to remove fluoride earlier this year.

Water services predicts it will take a minimum of one week for fluoride concentrations to drop to naturally occurring levels in the water supply.
