There are changes at the top of the Calgary Parking Authority.
General Manager Dale Fraser is leaving the organization, as is the Assistant General Manager.
Alderman Gael Macleod, who sits on the board tells 660News the CPA board felt it was time to make some changes in the leadership based on a report conducted last year.
“That report talked about moving from an enforcement culture into more of a service oriented culture and sometimes that requires a change in leadership. That is part of the direction it’s part of the implementation of the recommendations from that report that we need to move in a different direction,” said Macleod
The report into the activities of the CPA saw a difference in opinion between the board and management on stakeholder relations, customer service and how to manage some aspects of the operations.
Troy Macleod from the City’s Traffic department has been named as the interim General Manager.
