Alberta wildfire update

Albertans who decide to go camping this long holiday weekend, are being reminded of the province-wide ban of all fires.
Sustainable Resources Minister Mel Knight says while firefighters continue to battle flames in the north, other areas are also at risk.
There are currently 49 wildfires burning in Alberta with 11 of them out of control.
On Friday afternoon, a helicopter involved in the battle to control the wildfires crashed at Lesser Slave Lake and the pilot died.
The Transportation Safety Board was on scene on Saturday investigating the crash.
Meanwhile, the thousands forced from their homes by a forest fire in Slave Lake still don’t know when they’ll be allowed to return.
One third of the town was destroyed.
