Calgary police believe a second man who was feared to have drowned in the Elbow River, may have been able to pull himself out.
Police say they know the identity of the man and are now trying to track him down, after he went missing in the river, but was spotted by a witness Monday afternoon.
He was one of two people in the water near the Talisman Centre, the other person was pulled from the river and rushed to hospital after being resuscitated.
The fire department called off the search along the Elbow River for the second man late this morning.
Police say they know the identity of the second man and are trying to trace him.
