Keystone pipeline leak causes shutdown

Calgary-based TransCanada Pipeline has shut down its 591,000 barrel-a-day Keystone pipeline.

It comes after about 40 barrels of crude leaked from a pump station about 100 kilometres outside of Kansas City.

So far, the company doesn’t know exactly when it will be able to start the line back up.

All of the oil has been contained and repairs have started.
