Arts officials dominate mayor’s visitor list

Calgary cultural bosses are dominating the mayor’s guestbook.

Of the 13 visitors to Naheed Nenshi’s office in May, seven of them were from arts agencies like the Epcor Centre, Calgary Opera and Glenbow Museum.

With the exception of one consultant, none of the official visitors to the mayor’s office in May were from the private sector.

May’s list of visitors to the mayor’s office is the first one of its kind and fulfills one of Nenshi’s campaign promises.
