Men arrested in unsolved murder

Calgary police may finally have a break in the unsolved murder of an innocent man last October.

Mark Mariani was found dead in an alley across from North Hill Mall on 16th Avenue N.W.

Police have arrested two men as suspects in Mariani’s death and first or second degree murder charges are expected.

The Calgary Sun reports one of the men was picked up here in Calgary, while the other was arrested in Edmonton.

Police say robbery may be the motive, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
