Jason Kenny reacts to throne speech disruption

It was a move that caught the eye of thousands, a lone page standing in the senate, holding up a sign that read “Stop Harper”

The Citizenship and Immigration Minister is calling the move disrespectful adding the actions of one doesn’t reflect the voice of a nation.

He says the former page’s move was unfortunate.

“It just reflects a kind of selfish and immature attitude by one young person, that’s really all it is.”

He says he was upset to see the throne speech disrupted and parliamentary tradition disrespected.

Kenney says now it’s full steam ahead for the federal Conservative majority and that allows them to focus on the economy and oilsands, a move that will help create jobs in Alberta.
