Two dead after BC plane crashes in Alberta

SETTLER, AB. (NEWS1130) – Two people are dead following a plane crash near Stettler, Alberta. The four-seater plane was en route from the Lower Mainland last night when it disappeared from the radar.
The small plane was reported missing just before 11 p.m.
RCMP Sergeant Geoff Buxcey says officers from three different detachments searched the area, only to find flames and debris in a farmer’s field.
Two people were pulled from the wreckage. It’s unclear why the plane went down or whether there was anyone else on board.
