The CTrain goes green

Other LRT systems will be green with envy over a new CTrain advertising campaign.

The Alberta Emerald Foundation has decked out one of the cars in the city to promote the upcoming Emerald awards.

The carrier is wrapped inside and out with advertising right down to a special green carpet.

Transit users can travel in the car until the June 25th.

Three Calgary organizations are up for awards at the ceremonies in Edmonton on Wednesday, June 15th

Calgary boasts 55 winners since the program was launched 20 years ago.

The awards promote and recognize environmental responsibility.
