Province looks to educate Albertans on carbon capture

The province plans to fork over $500,000 this year to educate Albertans about carbon capture and storage.
The Calgary Herald reports the campaign comes ahead of four projects to begin injecting CO2 into the ground by 2015.
The objective is to educate Albertans on the role carbon capture has in dealing with climate change.
Alberta Energy says while carbon capture is key to greening the province’s energy production, Albertans have many questions about what it means.
The campaign is slated to start in September.
