An early morning home invasion has left one man dead and a woman in her 50’s in critical, life threatening condition.
A man in his 20’s also suffered minor injuries but has since been released from hospital.
Inspector Cliff O’Brien says this family was also the victim of a home invasion about two years ago.
“Investigators have learned that this home was the target of a home invasion robbery in April of 2009. Charges were laid in regards to that incident. There is no information however to indicate that the two incidents are connected but obviously we’re very early in the investigation and we’re not going to rule anything out,” says O’Brien.
He adds they are not able to release many details because this is an ongoing investigation, but adds they are looking for two men dressed in dark clothes.
All of the victims are known to police.
