With a little more cash to play with after the province lowered its cut of the property tax, the long-awaited new central library may get a big boost.
City council will soon decide if the project will get a cash injection of $135-million.
Officials have put together a report suggesting which construction projects should be prioritized, and a committee will discuss the option on Wednesday.
According to The Calgary Herald, the library will cost a total of $250-million.
