Albertans will get a glimpse at the province’s bank account this week, with the 2010 annual report due out June 29th.
Premier Stelmach tells The Calgary Sun expect to see a 30 per cent decrease in the projected 2010-2011 deficit.
Energy Minister Ron Liepert credits the resurging energy market for the reducing deficit.
Stelmach points to layoffs and public spending cuts as being behind the optimistic report.
