Man in stable condition after stabbing

One man is in custody and another is in hospital in stable condition after a stabbing in the northwest Monday night.

Police were called to a home in the 7700 block of 41st Avenue N.W. at about 10:30 p.m. to find a 50-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest.

The man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and needed emergency surgery, but he’s since improved.

A man at the home was arrested.
