Royal couple post-parade itinerary

It’s a busy final day for the royal couple as they kick-off the Stampede Parade Friday morning, but what else is on the royal agenda for the newlywed’s final day in Canada?
They’ll get very little down time following the parade as they’re expected at the Calgary Zoo for 11:30 a.m. They’ll indulge their sweet tooth with desserts prepared by S.A.I.T. culinary students during a reception hosted at the Enmax Conservatory by Premier Ed Stelmach.
The couple will also check out interactive displays showing of technical environmental advancements being made in Alberta and they’ll meet some young people who benefited from the province’s wedding gift to Will and Kate: emergency shelter funding.
They’ll have to move pretty quickly at the zoo if they’re to make their official farewell ceremony at Rotary Challenger Park on time. It begins at 12:45 p.m. and will be attended by Governor General David Johnston as well as Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Then it’s off to the airport where Will and Kate will have a ten-minute window to say goodbye to adoring crowds before boarding a plane heading to Los Angeles, at 1:40 p.m.
