A 40-year-old man is fighting for his life after an assault in the city’s southeast.
Duty Inspector Paul Stacey tells 660News, police received a call about two men seriously beating up another man near Olympic Plaza just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
Stacey says when police arrived in the 200 block of 7th Avenue S.E. the two attackers had left, but luckily there were plenty of witnesses who were able to describe the offenders well.
The District One unit, who are familiar with the downtown regulars in the area were able to identify both offenders and arrests were made within the hour.
No charges have been laid and the investigation continues.
