Up to 4,000 people are expected at the MacDougall Centre Monday for the final Stampede breakfast served up by Premier Ed Stelmach.
Stelmach retires this fall after nearly five years at the helm of the province.
He was plagued with many issues during his tenure, including an economic downturn, controversy over how royalty rates were handled and continued discontent with healthcare.
But many people 660News spoke with said they are attending the breakfast to say “thanks” for a job well done.
The breakfast goes from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
