Planning for Hobbema memorial underway

Plans for a memorial are underway after the shooting death of a five-year-old boy while he was in bed sleeping in Hobbema.
Samson Cree Coun. Koren Lightning-Earle tells The Calgary Sun while the community is planning a memorial for the chief’s grandson, Ethan Yellowbird, the details are being kept private.
Search and rescue teams from all over the province and a tactical team from Edmonton scoured the vicinity Tuesday looking for evidence.
Police can’t confirm if the incident is gang-related.
This is the second shooting in two years involving a child on the reserve.
