Mother Nature wreaked havoc in the city’s southwest during a nasty thunderstorm Wednesday night.
Duty Inspector Michael Watterston tells 660News, ten houses were effected but the damage was isolated to roofs, windows and decks.
Homes along the 300 block of St. Moritz Drive were damaged as a result of the storm that came through around 8 p.m.
Watterston says no injuries have been reported.
Callers to the newsroom reported seeing funnel clouds near the horizon around Discovery Ridge, but there have been no confirmed reports of tornadoes touching down.
Callers also reported spotting damage to homes in Springbank Hill and flooding along 16th Avenue near 29th Street.
The storm lasted for about an hour and headed away from the city to the northeast.
