The city is looking for local artists to make their mark on Calgary’s streetscape.
Proposals are being considered to put art on utility boxes at various locations.
The project is an opportunity for artists to increase their exposure and also works to discourage graffiti, while creating an interesting urban environment.
Submissions are being accepted on an on-going basis, with locations assigned as time, weather and budget allows.
Fees paid range from $400 to $1,000.
