Deadline for Tory leadership hopefuls

Albertans will find out Friday if there will be any more names thrown into the hat for Premier Ed Stelmach’s job.

July 15 is the deadline for anyone wanting to enter the Tory leadership race to have their nomination papers in.

So far, six people have declared their candidacy.

The Premier officially steps down this fall.
